Grandstand Pocket Battery Cover
thingiverse
My Grandstand Pocket Scramble LCD game had a missing battery cover, and it had a piece of card cut to fit but did not keep battery connection stable, so I decided to rectify this with my first resin printed model. This is designed in Tinkercad and has helped me learn how to use Tinkercad, and has shown me its weaknesses, but is easy enough to whip up simple designs. This is my final iteration, as I wanted a good fit and look good, there is a slight distortion in the circular "foot" due to just a lazy resize, and I have added a couple of layers more than needed on the taper part, as I kept breaking the edge so can be sanded down if you want a smoother transition, but it helps create a tighter, stronger fit too.
