Grand Piano. There is a script to transform tris into quads for this model, but also for any model as a gift. It's a convenient tool that makes it easy to do so. For retopology models, use the instant meshes bridge and run the script. A bridge from 3ds max to instant meshes allows you to export, remesh, and import objects back into max based on parameters in the dialog box. Installation is straightforward: run the script from any location (Maxscript -> Run Script). If you prefer, you can add it to your toolbar or menu by creating a macroscript using Macroscript Creator. At first run, the script will ask for the location of your instant meshes executable – this only happens once, unless you reinstall max or remove the executable from the path.
