I built this smartphone amplifier in a gramophone-inspired design, and it's working beautifully! The horn is providing excellent support for the base and holding up perfectly under the weight of my smartphone. Be cautious when removing the phone though - the horn gives the whole assembly a slight lean to one side. Print Settings: Rafts: Off Supports: No Infill: 30% dense Notes: Due to my printer's small 6x6-inch build plate, I had to cut the horn into three pieces. If you have a larger build plate, try printing the "gramosmartphone_horn_whole.stl" for a smoother result. Alternatively, print each section ("gramosmartphone_horn (Cut 1)refined.stl" and "gramosmartphone_horn (Cut 2).stl") separately and assemble with glue, which I used for ABS parts. Don't forget to print the base component as well - Cura slicing worked better than my Repetier Slic3r for this particular file. A 6mm brim provided excellent adhesion. Although my printer is limited to printing at 0.3mm layer height without a fan, this design might yield a more precise outcome. Post-Printing: After completing the print, lightly sand the interior of the base until it matches your smartphone's dimensions. This may be necessary depending on your printer's accuracy level.
