Gramazon - The Acoustic Echo Amplifier!
thingiverse
I've always been captivated by the vintage look of old radio horns from the 20's and 30's, but unfortunately, acquiring them has become increasingly challenging nowadays. When you do manage to find one, the price tag is often steep. To make matters worse, reproductions on the market in the form of standalone Bluetooth speakers come with an even higher price point than their original counterparts. I had almost given up on the idea of owning a vintage-style radio horn until I experienced that epiphany moment many makers have at some point. It hit me - "Hey, I have a 3D printer, so why not just create one?" With that thought in mind, I headed straight to Fusion 360 to see what I could design and build. Initially, my plan was to craft the horn part and build a wooden base to house electronics for a Bluetooth receiver and speaker. However, as I gazed at my Echo Dot sitting on my desk, a spark of inspiration struck - the idea for the Gamazon was born! The design is straightforward and doesn't require any additional purchases beyond paint, which is completely optional, of course. Simply print, assemble, and enjoy your new Gamazon radio horn.
