This handy small tool - a sort of miter box - helps you cut the branch into the perfect angle when grafting apple, pear, or plum trees by providing precise control. The knife blade used is a reliable Stanley model no. 1992 - specifically designed for standard utility knives, with dimensions measuring 62 mm in length and 19 mm in height. You can check out this product here: https://www.stanleytools.co.uk/product/147165 The design has been updated to ensure that the knife blade only extends as deep as the branch allows, guaranteeing precise cuts. In 2015, successful grafting experiments were conducted with apple trees using one-year-old "sleeping" branches. Results include: * First signs of new plant shoots emerged on May 24, 2015 * Leaf growth observed in two out of seven branches by June 7, 2015
