Graflex Clip

Update 3/18/2018 I have no uploaded all four combinations of the clamp body (with and without the inner tabs, and with or without the GRAFLEX text). I also updated the connector between the lever and the threaded piece. I also designed the transistor and washer with a clip in attachment through the side holes (I strongly suggest gluing in place to make connection permanent). Lastly, I uploaded two plugs for attaching other pieces through the connector (right or left twist on) via the inner tabs. I have not tested these parts yet so I can't guarantee these work properly or the tabs are actually strong enough to lock in pieces. Update 3/14/2018 I uploaded the final clamp body file now updated to now be more accurate with the four grooves instead of the initial three I had in the first design. I also added photos of a print to show final file. Note with the bent in tabs, you will need to use supports. I got sick of all the different lightsaber designs cutting corners on the Graflex clip. Either the whole thing is a single piece and rigid, or it uses a hard to print pin. Most of the designs also do not include the text and lines found on the original part. I decided to try and make a fully working Graflex clip that is also in separate pieces to allow for sanding, filling, and then covering with standard aluminum duct tape to give a more accurate look to the piece. One change to the design was to do only three lines instead of four and to make the text more bold. This was done so that the resolution could be seen on most printers and when covering with the tape, you can still get rub the piece hard enough for the design to show through. There are two versions of the main clip: - Stock Graflex clip with text and "bent tabs" (requires support to print) - Cleaned up Graflex Clamp with no text and no tabs (does not require support to print) This is a still a work in progress but it is getting close. If you download and print, please share any thoughts of changes you wish to see.
