Graffiti in the prison of the town of Picón (2)
sketchfab
The model showcases some remarkably preserved graffiti within the walls of Picón's prison in Ciudad Real, Spain. Built during the sixteenth century and situated on the ground floor of the City Hall, this unique structure is one of the last remaining examples in La Mancha. The prisoners' scribbled expressions adorn its walls, featuring deer, crosses, buildings, and hearts among many other vibrant images. In use until the nineteenth century, when the Spanish judicial and prison system underwent significant changes. A 3D model was created from 266 images using Reality Capture technology. Further processing took place in Geomagic Wrap, Zbrush, Substance Designer, and Blender software. References: López-Menchero, V.M., et al.
