Graduation Cap Display 2020 Description: Celebrate Graduating in 2020 with This Little Display. Supports Needed: Yes Setup: 1) Buy a rope that's around 1.5mm thick, or something close to it. I used "Duncan Toys Yo-Yo String" too. You'll also need super glue and paint pens or white paint with a small paintbrush. 2) Print out the prints. For the cap, I printed with a raft and auto supports. For the stand, I just used a skirt and rotated the print so that the tall support was in the back. That way, when you get it off the build plate, you won't break it in the front. 3) Use paint or paint markers to paint in the lettering. I suggest using painters tape around the sides because it likes to spatter everywhere. You can also paint the rope. I gave mine a light cream color. 4) Cut the loop and undo the weave on the yo-yo string to make the tassel. 5) Tuck the rope under the cap button and trim it to the right length. 6) Glue the tucked blunt end to the tucked loop side of the rope so that it stays under the button.
