Graden Sprinkler/Sprayer
thingiverse
This is part of an ambitious project to automatically water my garden during extended periods away from home. The concept involves suspending this sprayer above the garden and connecting it to a reliable water source. Water pressure flowing through the numerous tiny holes in the model creates a fine mist that disperses evenly across a significant area. The extent of coverage depends on both the water pressure and hole size - 0.9mm is the default setting. I have limited experience with OpenSCAD, so my creation may not be professional-grade. It's possible that altering the default parameters excessively could cause the model to fail. To produce a successful print, I recommend using a very small layer height, both to enhance adhesion and accurately replicate the tiny 0.9mm holes. If you opt for larger holes, increasing the layer height can significantly speed up the printing process.
