Graber Evolution
thingiverse
A straightforward project transforms a Graber I3 into a high-performance Graber Core XY machine, boasting a robust CoreXY system, a reliable Bowden Extruder Allmetal setup, and future plans for Dual Color with Single Nozzle functionality. To replicate this endeavor, grab the same materials found in the Anet Evolution (www.thingiverse.com/thing:2786292). This project comes equipped with several convenient features, including an electronics box with fan, a LCD holder, a Filament Holder, and a X-Carriage designed to seamlessly integrate with your extruder. The numbers preceding each file name indicate how many copies you should print of each component. Some pieces were intentionally crafted for smaller bed sizes (200x200), necessitating subsequent assembly using adhesive. These parts share the same designation but append "part 1" or "part 2" to the end, denoting their respective halves. Keep in mind that linear guide dimensions may require custom adjustments, as the standard setup may not provide a precise fit. In my case, I needed to procure four new guides (two 470mm and two 370mm units) to ensure optimal performance. This design can be easily modified to adopt a Closed Core XY configuration by incorporating acrylic plates, granting users greater flexibility in their build process.
