For those who require the use of a walker to get around, you may find the use of a reacher or grabber to pick things up off the floor or reach high into cabinets. However carrying the grabber around is awkward, as many do not offer a clip, and those that do often require two hands to attach it to a walker (and further can only be attached in certain areas and can often slip).

This model provides a easy and quick to use holster to attach a grabber to a walker.

It is designed to be used with many popular grabber tools available that use a U-shaped aluminum body that is roughly 12mm x 14mm.

The model requires two things:

Two 6" (150mm) zip ties

Small strip of two sided tape

The zip ties allow one to tightly attach the holster to the tubing on a walker. I find the zip ties provide more strength and grip than something 3D printed.

The two sided tape prevents the inset that attaches to the grabber from sliding. While the inset should attach tightly to the grabber, it will loosen over time, so it is best that you add some two sided tape to prevent any slippage.

I added the Fusion 360 file, for those who wish to make modifications. It also includes some earlier designs that some may want to use, such as a screw on holster, and variants that can attach zip ties to the back (instead of the side), in both horizontal and vertical orientations.
