Grabber I3 Bed Auto Level planar bed support - Y axis
thingiverse
Bed Auto Leveling software only compensates for planar distortions on the heated bed. However, when you attach the bed to four points using screws, you'll inevitably get a paraboloid distortion, rendering any linear BAL software ineffective. This design fixes that issue by attaching supports to the Y-axis car, which allows the bed to lie flat as a plane. This is essential for achieving accurate auto-leveling results. Update: I've added an Inventor 2013 file for editing purposes. Print Settings: Rafts: None Supports: None Infill: A 20% infill should be sufficient Notes: Standard print settings apply, with no special considerations needed. Post-Printing Instructions: First, print three parts according to the regular holes on the front of the Y-axis car. Fix two of them at those designated spots, and attach the third one in the middle hole located on the back (I'll post a photo shortly). Securely hold it in place using a 20mm M3 screw, along with its corresponding nut and washers.
