
GPS Speedometer with MAX and AVG speed

A universal and small arduino powered GPS speedo with larger main speed display and both Max and Average displays too. It's meant to be rugged and fairly easy to build. It has LEDs to indicate status at a glance. Here's a video This was designed to be printed in something kinda see through, Mine is glow in the dark PLA. Most of the lights and such shine through the case so there's less holes. #BOM: GPS Module Screen Powerboost 1000c Switch USB Breakout Some Neopixels I used a piece off a long strip but these would work better. Battery or batteries that fit in a space 80mm wide and 8mm thick at max. I used 3 x 60348 900MAH cells in parallel.Each has a protection board. There's enough space for a 18650 cell. Now on mine I removed the plug from the Arduino Nano and ran the USB data lines to the charger plug so I can program and charge from the same port. This is optional. Source code for the Arduino is included! The pin assignments are in the Arduino code at the top. Uses 6 x M3x8mm self threading screws to close it, for the USB breakout and 4 to secure the screen. I used some stupid bright LEDs for my indicators so printed a cover to diffuse them, LCD Bezel cover is optional. There's an optional mounting clip with this. Printing that out now. That also comes with a strap clip thing. Mounting holes on the back are 103x80mm spaced for M3 self tapping. This uses the TinyGPS++ Library and can be modified.
