To use an old Garmin GPS mount with a newer iPhone 4S, I designed a custom adapter that fits into the same notches as the original GPS unit. This Belkin Vue case-compatible adapter snaps securely onto my Garmin Nuvi 200 mount, allowing me to utilize my phone's GPS features. Since it may not fit non-cased iPhones, modifications can be made if necessary. The updated version should no longer require sanding the edges for a proper fit. Simply print and use this adapter with your Garmin mount and iPhone 4S.
