Update 24-OCT-2015: A screw head hole with an optional chamfer is now added. An additional hole has been incorporated into the top plate. A compact GPS-mount design has been engineered, compatible with frames of standard 30.5 x 30.5mm dimensions (including CC3D, Naze32, Flip32). This module features an open slot that can accommodate components such as a "2nd level plate," which securely holds the GPS unit in place between the FC and top cover. Users now have complete control over multiple parameters related to dimension. Support structures are completely adjustable, giving users flexibility. The framework includes optional functionality for adding or removing support, based on specific needs. To keep this structure in place effectively, an intermediate plate should be secured with CA glue drops to 4 prominent screw domes. I'm utilizing this platform to install an 808 keycam on my FNQ220 model, and also have adapted the design to secure a Ublox GPS module securely onto my X525v3 quadcopter.
