GPS clock case

GPS clock case

I designed this case for a clock I built. The clock uses GPS signals to synchronize its time, is aware of daylight savings time, and uses the system RTC if GPS is unavailable. It displays 12-hour time with AM/PM indicators. The clock runs on an internal LiPo battery but can also be powered externally via Mini USB, DC 5v adapter, or a 6v solar panel. While connected to external power, the internal battery charges up. The case is incredibly simple, featuring internal slots for the GPS module, 5v boost module, charging board, Trinket Pro, and 2500 mAh LiPo cell. After printing, I tapped holes in the case and back plate for 2.5mm screws. The display rests against offsets which I drilled and tapped for 2mm after printing. I chose to do it this way to avoid dealing with extra iterations of modeling LCD backpack mounting holes.
