We wanted a simple solution for mounting our new GPS system, especially since it features a useful backup camera. It turned out that placing it here wouldn't block anything important or require additional holes to be drilled. This spot has worked well so far after more than seven months in service. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Lower quality for the main body and higher quality for the ball Infill: Solid Notes: The print was done with ABS material. I found it easier to print my unit in two pieces because each component turned out spherical without flaws. Post-Printing: The sphere had a smooth surface after vapor treatment, so we just attached it securely to the main piece using an adhesive.
