GPS Mounting Bracket for Garmin Unit - Using double-sided 1" tape for mounting on dashboard at a 20-degree angle to accommodate the slope. A trimmed-down piece of double-sided sticky tape is placed in the bottom of the receptor tray for the Garmin, serving as both a spacer and shock absorber. The tape side facing the Garmin ensures easy removal of the GPS unit. This setup looks neater than the large suction cup that normally hangs from the front window inside.
