GP Headrest/Handlebar Mount Adaptor
thingiverse
My newborn's car seat is positioned facing the rear of my vehicle, making it impossible for me to keep an eye on her while driving. To solve this issue, I acquired a GoPro knockoff that allows me to monitor the video feed on my mobile phone via Wi-Fi connection. This ingenious device fits seamlessly into one of the headrest holes of my 2013 Ford Explorer, and a GP handlebar mount securely attaches to it. If you're like me, with an abundance of GP mounts, dedicating one for this purpose won't be a problem. The printed item is made from 100% PLA and requires no sanding, although I must note that this guarantee isn't absolute. If you decide to build one, please let me know - the standardization of headrest mountings is still unclear to me. Print settings include: printer brand (Printrbot), printer model (Printrbot Plus), raft usage (not necessary), and support material usage (also not required). I designed this item using Fusion360.
