GP-5 Mask Thread Fix

GP-5 Mask Thread Fix

thingiverse

The last mask filter was crafted for NATO and GOST standards, but the threads weren't perfectly suited for my GP-5 mask design. I'm grateful to bluepug for sharing their threads, which I incorporated into my project along with some quick fixes and novel hole designs that allow air to circulate freely. I created these modifications in Tinkercad online, so while it may not be a professional-grade build, it functions effectively and looks great. You can fill the mask with cotton to prevent debris from entering, but I recommend placing cloth or mesh at the bottom to keep larger particles from escaping through the holes. Once I repair my nozzle and print another mask in white PLA, I'll post detailed images for your review. To ensure proper assembly, please note that the file Fantabulous_Waasa-Turing_5.stl is intended for demonstration purposes only and should not be used to produce a functional mask. Print each component separately for optimal results.
