GOYLE
thingiverse
In a magazine competition for 3D artists, a pet monster was designed with an imp/gargoyle appearance. The designer aimed to provide enough detail for facial features and muscle tone to show in the final print. After experimenting with different poses and structures, a tucked position was chosen to keep the creature intact. The model was created without joints or gaps and the artist was concerned about overhanging sections sagging during printing but the outcome was successful. If readers decide to print the monster, the designer would love feedback and photos of the final product. Two STL files are available for download: GOYLE.STL (higher resolution) and GOYLE LOW.STL (smaller file). An OBJ file is also provided for editing purposes. Despite limited 3D printing knowledge, the designer welcomes suggestions or help with potential model issues to make improvements and re-upload the file.
With this file you will be able to print GOYLE with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on GOYLE.
