Govan 12
sketchfab
Govan 12 (Stirling Maxwell's numbering; ECMS 13) stands out among 31 early medieval recumbent cross-slabs originally recorded at Govan Old in 1899 as one of a few featuring angle-knobs. Currently displayed upright, this monument would have been laid flat in the churchyard, likely marking the grave of an influential early medieval figure. Fragmented though it is, records show that its lower part remains unknown. Design similarities abound with Inchinnan 1. This 3D model was created as part of Dr Megan Kasten's PhD research, available here: http://theses.gla.ac.uk/74266/. The 3D model was built using SfM photogrammetry and Agisoft Metashape software, then edited with Zbrush.
