This Soprano-sized ukulele boasts a sleek 3-piece design featuring an intricately crafted body, fretboard, and bridge. Standing out from my previous headless creation, this one sports a conventional headstock for a traditional look. To tackle the issue of plastic warping under string tension, I incorporated a strategic groove into the neck to house a sturdy neck rod, similar to what can be found on Acpsales.com (0.125" x 0.325" Rectangular Rod). Furthermore, this design calls for straightforward friction tuners such as those from Amazon's B00E3UA3JQ product and simple bridge pins like the B006X0UCKY offering. Design Process: Crafted using OpenSCAD, my process involved scaling spheres with precision to ensure a smooth gradient where parts intersect, necessitating extensive trigonometric calculations for seamless execution.
