Gottlieb Plunger Potentiometer Mount
thingiverse
This is the initial rollout of this reworked design, specifically tailored to work seamlessly with vintage Gottlieb pinball plungers from the 1960s and 1970s. Comprehensive documentation includes detailed Sketchup files, taking into account the slight imperfections in screw hole placement that still need refinement. The redesign is optimized for use with the Mouser product PTF01-152A-103B2, which incorporates Bourns Slide Potentiometers. Typically, the plunger is angled upwards, but due to space constraints from a nearby TV, it's necessary to flip it over and angle it downwards for optimal performance. The design has been adjusted to move the plunger to one side, allowing for easier access to the flipper button connectors. To facilitate assembly, the standard computer case screw on the lockdown bar is positioned to hold the plunger in place, making it simpler to secure the screws at the bottom.
