Gottlieb Coin Door Lock Replacement
thingiverse
If you - like me - buy your pinball machines from people that lost their keys after letting their pinball machine collect dust for 20 to 30 years in their basement, this is the best way to replace the coin door lock, after brutally destroying the original one.Print the pieces as seen in the pictures above with "paint on support" for the shoulders of the insert.Remove the support, press the insert into the threaded cylinder (yes, this will need a lot of force but so far the shoulders of the insert never snapped off). Then screw the large nut from the inside of the coin door onto the cylinder, attach the printed lockbar and tighten it with a screw.Pro tip: use some glue for the screw and make some dry runs of the threads before installing to make your life easier.
