Gothic test tube holder (also for regular test tube)
thingiverse
Hello there! I was searching for a one-piece test-tube holder that could be printed without supports and was larger in size so that full test tubes wouldn't tip over. This would also prevent the holder from being knocked over with them. After finding some interesting holders, I encountered issues printing them every time. Either there were hollow areas, which required me to print additional supports again, or the holder had to be assembled and glued together. I created a model myself using OpenSCAD. The gothic arches are designed for printing without supports and also look cool. I previously shared an earlier version online, but only recommend it if test tubes have diameters below 16 mm, as they won't fit otherwise. For test tubes with diameters greater than 16 mm, use the "testtube-stand_gt_16.stl" model, which is designed in a Gothic style to prevent stringing on bridges. For test tubes with diameters of 16 mm or less, use the "testtube-stand.stl" model. This was my first attempt at creating a holder, but unfortunately, it was too small for my test tubes. I hope you enjoy this creation!
