Gothic Lantern Post
thingiverse
I conceptualized this lamp-post in 3D Builder by integrating components from Shira's Gothic Lantern and Agent MSG's Gothic Lantern Base with Brackets. The post features holes at the top that perfectly align with the lantern's holes, allowing for secure attachment using dowels or bolts. I duplicated the brackets for lamp holder fitting from Agent MSG's base and incorporated them at the top of this lamp-post design. I printed everything at 110% scale to accommodate an LED flame-effect bulb. Printing upside-down only requires minimal support on the exterior. My print took approximately 30 hours, and I opted for low-quality printing as I plan to apply a hammered finish using hammerite's black paint to replicate a wrought iron effect.
