Gothic Industrial Train
cults3d
Ever wanted a train for your tabletop terrain layout? No, I don't mean those other itty-bitty trains out there. I mean a monstrous, about as true scale as you can get onto a printer train! This is it! With a style that fits perfectly within any grimdark universe, the Gothic Industrial Train is just at home in a hive or manufactorum as it is traveling across the open plains. The engine is powerful enough to haul immensely massive loads of materials, or war machines to any destination along its tracks, without fail. Need to transport a contingent of Sororitas armored tanks? Load them onto a reinforced flatbed! Got molten steel to move quickly from smelter furnace to manufactorum? Make use of the crucible-laden smelter car! And this is only the beginning! The Gothic Industrial Train is made to be the most impressive piece of terrain on the table. The engine alone is 40cm(~16in) in length when assembled! Sound intimidating? Worry not! Those tech priests have you covered! The engine and each car are broken down into easy-to-print (if not still massive) sections that are made to set flat on the build plate. No, to minimal supports are needed, and from the build plate only. All overhangs are either curved or short enough that most printers can easily bridge them without any issue. To that end, there are very thin built-in supports for connector peg sockets on the engine parts. Just grab them with a thin pair of pliers and rip them out, or break them with a screwdriver.
