Gothic Church - German Design - AD 1900

This is a precise replica of an actual church located in Johnsburg, IL. I initially created the model using Revit software. Prior to exporting it as an STL file, I employed solid extrusions within Revit to fill all empty spaces. As a result, this is a fully solid object. The reason for doing so lies in the fact that the walls of my original Revit model were excessively thin and incapable of being printed accurately. Therefore, I took the necessary steps to create a solid object. Those who plan on printing this 3D model should be aware that the three crosses atop the church's spires may pose some challenges (they tend to break easily due to their vertical orientation). Consequently, I created separate cross models for printing "flat" so they can be printed with greater stability and then glued onto the top. However, it is essential to note that depending on your printer and scale, this issue might not arise at all. The Cross-1 and Cross-4 STL files are available for download in case you need to print them flat; these files contain 1 cross and 4 crosses respectively, and they serve the same purpose. I would like to extend my gratitude to "quietrumpet" for printing this model with utmost care. Please feel free to visit his ThingiVerse page to explore more of his incredible prints.
