This is a highly detailed 3D model of the Gotha G.V. bomber aircraft. Realistic textures are provided, including detailed diffuse and bump maps that have a maximum dimension of 4096 pixels. History shows that the pilot's seat on the Gotha G.V was positioned to port with fuel tanks located directly behind it, blocking the walkway that previously connected crew members between gun stations. In this model, all bombs are carried externally. The Gotha introduced an innovative feature called a "gun tunnel" where the underside of the rear fuselage is arched, allowing for placement of a rear-facing machine gun to protect against attack from below and eliminate blind spots. Later versions expanded the tunnel, removing the lower gun and providing a slot in the upper fuselage that allowed the rear gunner to remain stationary while still being protected.
