Gotek/OpenFlops Sled for Roland SB-55
thingiverse
A Gotek/OpenFlops compatible mounting sled which will fit in to the Roland SB-55. The SB-55's disk grabbing indent means the most of the other standard Gotek 3.5" floppy brackets won't fit flush with the inside of the case. I've lined the USB, buttons, and the OLED display so they're centred on the disk slot. I considered trying to make space so the rotary encoder would line up with the eject button slot, but I may need to do some major changes to accomplish that; probably involving flipping the board upside. The holes on the bottom of the enclosure are sized to take a GB809-88 A M3x3 threaded insert; if you're buying cheap Chinese brass inserts cheap off ebay or Amazon, that's almost certainly the series they're part of. They're subtly different to the DIN 16903-1 B M3 ones. "Cage" idea for the OLED display from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2664753; who also is the source of the idea to possibly flip the board to make space for a rotary encoder.
