GoTek OLED Screen Mounting Bracket

GoTek OLED Screen Mounting Bracket

This is a glue-free mount that allows placement of the small OLED screens in the original Gotek case. You will need to cut the two plastic strips out of the original case that run vertical next to the window where the 3 digit LED screen originally sits. You will also need to cut the plastic off the top case cover of the GoTek that holds the original LED screen in. This allows the OLED screen to sit closer to the window. There are 4 places you need to remove plastic from the printed model. The two vertical supports, the front bottom lip and the hole on the bottom. The hole is two layers, so there is just a doughnut that is removed. Once the 4 bits are removed from the print (which should take an hour or less) remove the Gotek PCB, snap this in with the OLED up front, replace main PCB and it should be good to go. You can opt to secure the oled screen in with a little bit of hot melt glue (hot snot.) I saw lots of cases on here for Goteks but nothing to mount the OLED screen so here is one. Designed in Sketchup, and I included a 2020 version file in case people want to modify it using the free web version. Update - The pictures are from an original version that had the OLED screen backwards. I have updated both the SKP and STL files with a newer version that holds the OLED screen the proper orientation, with the OLED wires close to the side of the case.
