Gotek Enclosure - Amiga G1010
thingiverse
I've modified my Amiga 500 to boot from an external Gotek drive, keeping it as original stock as possible. The drive itself wasn't very appealing on its own next to my Amiga setup, so I created a simple one-piece enclosure that matches it. The name Amiga G1010 is inspired by the Commodore Amiga A1010 floppy drive. There's an option to use screws on the bottom if you prefer, but it's sturdy enough without them. If anyone wants to remove the Amiga name to match their hardware setup like Atari or Amstrad, just send me a private message. Here are the items used for this project: 1/ I ordered a Gotek FF HxC-compatible USB drive from eBay. 2/ I also bought an external Amiga drive adapter cable for my Gotek emulator.
