I admired Rhazgular's Flashtool design but had no intention of fully integrating an FTDI assembly into it; instead I opted for a pin header setup. To simplify the project, I reduced the volume and print time of the original design. I also incorporated a vintage micro switch to streamline the flashing initialization process. Lastly, I enlarged the pogo pin holes slightly to make pin installation easier and removed excess body material that could obstruct the WLan antenna's signal path. For optimal results, it is recommended that you solder the pins onto their respective wires before inserting them into place. Once the pogo pins are properly aligned, apply a small bead of CA adhesive at their base to secure them permanently in position. The pin header and micro switch were affixed using a generous dollop of hot glue.
