One of the recommended masks to replace surgical masks is the Montana Mask, available at makethemasks.com/about-the-mask. The idea is to reuse surgical filters by cutting them into multiple pieces. This design allows you to use pre-existing masks with GOST 8762-75 sockets. It uses the same filter frame as before. To insert tissue, cut a piece slightly larger than the filter frame. Place it on either side and verify that it points in the right direction. Then push the frame into the socket.
