THIS PROJECT IS STILL ON PROGRESS, WILL BE UPDATED PERIODICALLY. This is the design of a Competition-Ready Rock Crawler. The vehicle features a 4x4 axle setup with independent suspension, and it's equipped with high-performance components to handle tough terrain. The chassis is made from aluminum alloy for added strength and durability. It has a wheelbase of 30 inches and a ground clearance of 12 inches. The body is designed for aerodynamics and features a sleek, angular design. The vehicle is powered by four brushless motors, each equipped with a high-torque motor speed controller. The battery pack consists of two 2S Lipo batteries, providing a total capacity of 1500mAh. The suspension system includes four shock absorbers and four stabilizer bars to ensure maximum stability and control. The wheels are made from high-strength plastic and feature a unique tread pattern for improved traction. The steering system is equipped with four standard size servos, each capable of handling 15-25Kg/cm of torque. The transmitter features six channels and can be programmed to customize the vehicle's behavior. Pending updates include completing the bill of materials (BOM) and adding links to possible suppliers, as well as assembly instructions, transmitter programming and mixes, and more pictures and action videos.
