Gort Bust - Day the Earth Stood Still

This is an ongoing project, aiming to create a fully functional replica of the robot from The Day the Earth Stood Still movie. The design draws inspiration from this existing model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3924239. Recent Update: A significant addition has been made to the original design - full-size parts are now printable on a CR10 3D printer at 95% infill using ABS material. However, the lower section of the robot's head requires support structures. To achieve this, I utilized the custom supports feature in Cura and strategically placed them on the front panel, which is where the visor opening is located. The next challenge lies in creating a moving visor and screen holder for the TFT display to project laser images effectively. This feature will add an exciting interactive element to the replica.
