Gorillaz 2d Occult Disney Ears
thingiverse
After seeing 2d's new head gear in Cracker Island, I knew I had to have some for a trip to Disney. So, I spent a few minutes and came up with this basic set of "Disney Ears" that match what he was wearing. (Unfortunately due to a back injury I am a few months late on finishing this test print, and was not able to wear them at Disney). The headband should fit most adult heads and V3 does clear glasses. A little heat will help if you have bad pressure points at the ends. But, I did include the ears as its own file so you can make your own band if you wanted (or wanted to use something else entirely). The tabs on the ears are 16.55mm by 5mm, so you can make your own slots if designing your own headband. V2 vs V3: They are the same shape, V3 is just a bit shorter to clear glasses. I never fully printed V2, as I knew I would never use it. But I did post it just in case. If you care, the shorter side of the middle point should be down (making the longer side being up). The picture shows the "correct" direction, if you wanted to be accurate. Note: When putting the stars into your slicer, you will want to split the model (right click the model and split) so you can position the stars how you want to make them fit. You can also delete one of the stars the same way (split then right click to delete) if you only want to print one at a time. It looks like when I exported the model to STL, they were in their position in relation to the band. So they are pretty far apart when importing the file into the slicer.
