Gorilla low poly model

I open up 3D Studio Max and fire up my modeling skills by creating a brand new project from scratch. Next, I decide on a specific theme for this gorilla - something that screams "low poly" and demands attention. I choose to model a menacing silverback with rugged features, ready to take on the digital jungle. First things first, I set up a new scene in 3DS Max, selecting the units and scale according to my project requirements. With the ground plane established, I create a sphere primitive to serve as the foundation of my gorilla's head. This initial shape will be the starting point for all subsequent modeling operations. Using the "Extrude" tool, I add more detail to the sphere by creating two distinct areas - one for the nose and another for the mouth. The edges are then beveled to create a smooth transition between these features, giving my gorilla a sense of depth. Moving on to the eyes, I use the "Subtract" tool to carve out circular shapes within the eye sockets, adding an air of realism to this low-poly model. The result is two expressive peepers that seem to stare right through you. The next step involves creating the gorilla's facial structure. With a series of extrusions and bevels, I shape the cheekbones, jawline, and forehead into a striking, if somewhat gruesome, visage. This will serve as the basis for my model's overall expression. With the face modeled, it's time to tackle the body. A series of cylindrical primitives are used to create the gorilla's arms and legs, each with its own distinct shape and proportions. The result is a sturdy, imposing figure that exudes power and menace. The final touches involve adding some texture and shading to my model using 3DS Max's built-in materials editor. I apply a rough, granite-like texture to give the gorilla a rugged appearance, while also tweaking the lighting to create a sense of depth and dimensionality. And there you have it - a menacing low-poly gorilla ready to take on any digital challenge that comes its way!
