The GoPro is an excellent device except for its lack of a viewfinder. I've got the backpack, but either things are getting very small these days or my eyes aren't what they used to be. I use the GoPro on FPV radio-controlled planes and multi-rotors, but sometimes I just want to film my or a friend's attempts at flying and trying to spot a plane 200 feet up using the backpack is nearly impossible. So, I designed the clip-on viewfinder. I know it appears silly, but it works incredibly well. Simply hold the camera away from you (not up to your eye) and keep the object in the middle of the square. Use one or both eyes as necessary so as not to lose sight of the subject and you're done. If it's a bit loose on the camera, apply a small amount of hot glue to the inside of the sides and it will grip properly.
