I've modified the GoPro Hero 3+ mounting plate, standard 1/4-20 thread and now it fits like a tripod. The modifications are done carefully and accurately. The new plate can fit other models too but that has not been confirmed. What's essential is this is not just an ordinary print, SemiFlex by NinjaFlex is the material used for the black parts which are indeed very tough. When it comes to printing holes it becomes challenging. Two of these small circular sections need a punching action post printing because printing is complex and they may remain as holes. Heating up the brass insert makes it much simpler when inserting. As mentioned in the description earlier, measurements have been calculated with accurate precision and dimensions seem right so far at least from a radius point of view for cornered portions. The band in this modification part appears flexible so that should be ideal to use. The rigid white insert part has standard rigid measurements if one plans on using different material with threading requirements but in our case, I'm talking about the actual measurements as below: L x W x H is approximately 38.2mm by 17.0 mm and then it also measures up at 14.1 mm when height is taken into consideration which comes to nearly around half inch thread depth in metric or decimal measurement systems combined!
