I created a time lapse device for GoPro and phones that's based on the standard mechanics of an economic kitchen timer. Most cheap timers use this mechanism, so I'm confident it will work if your printer is well calibrated. You can find mobile support on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2194278) along with many other beautiful parts. This device can be mounted on a photographic stand using a standard screw. The operation is simple - start a basic time lapse, then load the timer for the angle you want to capture and it will move 1 degree per minute (360 degrees in one hour, 180 degrees in 30 minutes, etc.). When your timelapse is complete, you'll hear a signal that I've dubbed "RING" - it's a fun way to let you know that your shot is ready.
