This is my 360° Gopro time lapse device, built from scratch with a mix of bought and printed components. I began by purchasing an egg timer from Tiger for £2, available at http://www.tigerstores.co.uk/tiger_home/kitchen/egg-shaped_timer_1600221.html. Next, I removed the top part and measured up the interface to the clockwork bottom, which led me to design my own top with a well-known Gopro attachment. To print on my Ultimaker, I split it into two parts and then glued them together afterwards. Once assembled, it fits nicely on the bottom part, ready for your Gopro to be screwed in place. One full turn of the egg timer takes exactly an hour, completing smoothly without a hitch. There's even a handy alarm that sounds once finished. I stumbled upon another feature by accident - a hole at the bottom of the egg timer that screws perfectly onto a standard camera tripod fitting. Check out this video to see just how smooth it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTw31RoVU7U&feature=youtu.be Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 or less Infill: 100% Notes: These settings led to a successful print on the first try. The 'bottom.stl' was printed with the flat top on the build plate, eliminating the need for supports. I then joined the two parts using super glue from my shelf.
