Although one can affix a GoPro to a bike using stock mounts, they are notoriously ineffective at absorbing vibrations, which can result in blurry footage. Recognizing this limitation on my V-twin motorcycle, I took matters into my own hands and designed this elevated mounting system, purposefully built with robust components that effectively shield the camera from unwanted vibration. With satisfaction, I can confirm that this mount performed flawlessly during testing on my Honda VTR 1000 Firestorm. Please note that this design accommodates a 22mm handlebar exclusively. Furthermore, I discovered that stock "hand nut" screws might be too short to securely fasten the assembly due to the reinforced thickness of the outer forks, requiring alternative hardware for a secure fit.
