GoPro Table Clamp Mount v1.0
thingiverse
This is my very first model that I ever created myself using parts from different 3D models. My GoPro mount allows the GoPro (version 3 and above) to be clamped anywhere (mostly tables) for a unique perspective in videos. Make sure to use a skeleton GoPro case to keep the camera as light as possible. This model is great: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:979318 Please comment with any questions about errors or fixes. Assembly: Use a peg to connect the cylinder to the clamp base and epoxy them together for best results. Let dry & cure for 24 hours. I appreciate your tips! Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 25-30% Notes: Supports are optional for everything except the cylinder. Print the cylinder with the flat face facing down. How I Designed This The idea came to me when I couldn't find a proper GoPro mount to film my 3D printer while it was doing its magic. First, I took this model: (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1657541) and sliced off the main part of the mount, keeping only the table clamp part. Then, I started modeling the GoPro table clamp mount using basic shapes like cylinders and cubes to create the base of the table clamp. Next, I attached a customized version of this model: (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:62800) to the end of the base of the mount. The customized model: (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1885833). This whole process took me around 1 week to complete.
