GoPro simplified clip mount
thingiverse
I've discovered that most GoPro clip mounts are remarkably faithful copies of the originals, which would make perfect sense if we were using injection molding techniques, but they always prove far more finicky than necessary. This custom mount is a simplified and optimized version specifically designed for 3D printing. The tolerances are so precise that it may only work on my own printer, however, there's open-source OpenSCAD code available if it doesn't work as expected. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Makerfarm i3v 8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 30% Notes: I printed this mount using PETG. ABS and other flexible filaments like it should also work well. With PLA, you may need to adjust the spring slots (springw variable) for a proper fit.
