GoPro Low Snag Impact Shield for Skydiving Use This impact shield is specifically designed for use with the GoPro mount that utilizes countersunk M4 nuts (visit Thingiverse's item 2263627 to learn more). To assemble this shield, you'll need a tiny GoPro screwdriver (find it on Thingiverse at item 2263647) and a short GoPro screw. Insert the screw into the shield and secure it in place. When mounted inside this impact shield, it is possible to open the GoPro cover and remove the camera with minimal effort. To achieve optimal filming angles, simply rest the cover against the back of the shield for belly flying or against the front for canopy flying – freeflying enthusiasts will likely find this setup suitable as well.
