This thing is designed specifically for a GoPro Session case that houses a roll axis only style gimbal. It's been crafted to work seamlessly with a Storm32 gimbal controller paired with an RCTimer GBM2804 hollow shaft motor. This custom case is perfect for either an FPV fixed wing gimbal or a hand-held style gimbal setup. The gimbal motor attaches directly to the back of the case, ensuring a sturdy and secure connection. Beneath the case, there's a groove specifically designed to hold the Storm32 IMU in place using glue or double-sided adhesive tape. The 4 cables from the IMU thread through a hole at the bottom of the case, then weave their way behind the GoPro before emerging out through the motor's hollow shaft. For smooth rotation, it's recommended to use extremely thin and flexible wire to prevent any friction against the shaft. For an optimal fit around the GoPro, the case must provide a snug seal. Adjust the print scale accordingly to achieve this perfect fit. If you're working with ABS filament, be aware that shrinkage can occur, so you may need to increase the print scale by up to 1%. To test the fit, run a trial print with the case opening facing down on the printer bed. Print approximately 30% of the case and check the fit before proceeding.
