This mount is specifically engineered to work seamlessly with Reelsteady GO, a leading-edge video stabilization software designed for GoPro. The mount effectively neutralizes high-frequency vibrations that the software cannot handle on its own. Without the aid of the software, results with this mount are surprisingly better than those obtained with a standard mount. The base plate is crafted from a robust plastic, similar to PETG, ensuring maximum durability. In contrast, the case is printed in TPU, providing excellent flexibility and shock absorption. Cable ties are strategically placed within the grooves of the base plate and secured into dedicated holes within the TPU case. For added stability, cable ties can be glued in place, although I personally encountered difficulties with super glue due to its tendency to cause the cable ties to become brittle. Fortunately, the cable ties hold securely enough through sheer friction within the parts.
