GoPro Session Lens Protector
thingiverse
I designed this GoPro lens protector to ensure zero risk of the lens cracking from an airsoft BB when I'm out on the field. The printed frame securely holds a sheet of lexan/polycarbonate in place on my GoPro Session, while the frame clips neatly onto the GoPro Session holder. After printing, you'll need to attach a 44mm x 44mm piece of lexan between the two parts. I used a 2.5mm thick lexan sheet that has been thoroughly tested on YouTube for its ability to withstand high-impact shots from airsoft guns. To secure the lexan in place, I employed Loctite's Plastic Glue, specifically designed as a two-part adhesive system. Cutting the lexan was done with my trusty skill saw. For reference, here are the materials I used: Loctite - Plastic Glue [2 part] Lexan: 44mm x 44mm x 2.5mm thick
